『Grains of Diversity: Sake Rice Unveiled』
We are back, thank you for your patience! Join us for the first sake meeting of 2025, where we've curated a selection of sakes with both representative and rare rice varieties for you!
As the brewing season continues on full sail, more and more sakes come to the market. Names such as Omachi, Miyama Nishiki, Yamada Nishiki might sound familiar to you, but how about Uushu Homare, Rikuu 132 or Yukimegami? We’ve made a selection of 8 unique sakes, that can help you to understand the influence of the rice to the taste of it.
During the session, we’ll explore the role of rice in sake production, rice quality category’s, impact of the polishing and share pairing ideas to sum up to your experience. As usual, we will have some rare gems in our tasting, but you will enjoy the whole assortment!
