EXPORT BUSINESS DEPARTMENT
OUR CONCEPT
Creating new markets around the world together with domestic and international partners
Our export business department is working with partners who work together to promote a global strategy for a wide variety of Japanese alcohol beverages. Local partners understand the essence of each type of alcohol beverage (Japanese sake, wine, shochu and etc.) as well as identify the target customers and can take a proactive approach. Respected alcoholic beverage producers are capable of expressing and sharing their own brand value, vision as well as marketing plan. We at IMADEYA, with our long-standing relationship of trust with the brewers, and our knowledge and experience as a Alcoholic beverage distributor, are working as one to create new markets for our products around the world.
EXPORT BUSINESS
Our Export Business Team does not ship requested items as they are. Our first step is a discussion to confirm local needs and marketability, and to coordinate our vision. We are looking for true partners who are not bound by brand concepts, but have their own sales strategies and are willing to take on the challenge of new markets for the rich variety of Japanese products that can be sold through various channels around the world.
Also, it is important to have a communicator with accurate information and knowledge to express the wide variety of Japanese alcoholic beverages in foreign countries with different cultures. In addition to training local staff, we also provide active education on the importance of quality control, proper handling, food pairing and the alcoholic beverage producer's thoughts. As a "strong, mutually visible partner," we value the close exchange of information and the sharing of strategies among the three parties, to ensure that Japanese products are widely and deeply appreciated around the world.

EXPERIENCE
Working with Trusted Partners
Our role in the export market includes exporting as a coordinator through wine importers of each country that is connected with local retailers, and exporting directly to local partners. We primarily consider protecting the brands of makers, expressing their values to the fullest extent, and allowing the local partner to create a market as an authorized distributor.
We are currently exporting to 19 companies in 26 countries. Before starting business, our staff visits the country after repeated discussions with the local partner staff. We visit the local market to get a firsthand understanding of the company's internal structure, the motivation of the staff, and the local market. Local staff also visit Japan and accompany us to visit producers to get a feel for the climate in which the sake is made and the thoughts and feelings of the brewers. We are convinced that by personally inspecting the production sites of Japanese sake, which is very delicate and requires a high level of skill, we can convey the importance of quality control when handling the sake and the feelings that go into every drop of the Sake. Only after spending time together and talking with each other can business start.
Today, we are able to connect with people in distant countries using digital technology. In addition to local education activities, we would like to collaborate with motivated partners to create a global stage for Japanese sake, including online brand seminars conducted directly by sake brewers.

We started business in 2018.
We proposed Japanese sake and authentic shochu to Nara Cellar, which is originally a wine importer. They are conducting vigorous sales activities in the local market. Despite various restrictions and problems, we continue to increase the number of high-end clients every year, and we have boldly promoted the quality of sake, which is considered difficult locally. The sake is currently being carried by top hotels and department stores. The team has grown remarkably, and we expect to see more success in the future as they utilize our online seminars and other resources.
