『In Nature we trust – Green trends in sake』
More and more brewers are using organic rice for their sake. More and more our visitors are asking “natural” sake, but it’s not the easiest question for us.
Strict regulation in some countries and absence of legislation domestically sometimes make a mess in the labeling and understanding of “green” sake, especially, when you are a wine lover, who is trying to explore sake category.
In our next class we will open seven bottles of unusual sake made from slightly polished “clean” rice, with old methods of production, different levels of clarity and taste's purity and decide together can we call it “natural” or “organic” or it’s better to avoid such wording.
Class will be held by Maksim Polkin, member of Imadeya Ginza team and WSET Sake Educator.
